All cotton, 1930s antique blocks with modern sashing, batting & backing. measures 41"x 41"
For a decade, I searched antique shops & all sources, finally discovered these blocks on an eBay site and knew they needed to become a finished quilt to add a gentle symmetry for a display wall. 1930s fabrics, all cotton. The modern fabric I chose for sashing, backing and binding become a subtle background for some truly lovely pieces. There's a hand sewn hanging sleeve on the back. The detail photo shows my extensive hand quilting.
